The department of Paediatric Surgery at this institution was started in 1991 and has developed rapidly in a short span of time. It is staffed with one full time Professor,one full time Associate Professor and one full time Assistant Professor – ably supported by one Super Specialty Medical Officer, two Senior Registrars and three residents (registered for M. Ch. University Course for Paediatric surgery).
