Blood Bank (OPD4)
- From the inception of Blood Bank in 1950 up to 1991 only whole blood was given.
- From 1991, blood components are being made.

Tests
- Grouping Cross matching is not done for OPD patients.
- Grouping and cross matching done only for indoor admitted patients.
- Direct comb’s Test and Indirect Comb’s Test
- Detection of abnormal antibodies in special cases

- Packed Red Cells
- Saline washed packed cells for indoor Thalassemia patients.
- Fresh Frozen Plasma
- Cryoprecipitate
- Platelets
